Who I am
Strangers in the Neighbourhood (N16)

Strangers in the Neighbourhood in N16 is a part of a long-term conceptual project, which imagines Hackney as a narrative space.

Stoke Newington is part of the London Borough of Hackney in England. It carries the post code 'N16'. It has a large Orthodox Jewish and Turkish population, as well as a well-established Irish population, African population and middle class white British population. It has a plethora of different cultural characters and smells.

The project started as a piece of social research, which I constituted as an exchange of letters, psycho-geographical walks, and workshops with neighbours to generate discourses around space and identity.

I made tea bags which labelled a different keywords to brings the story of locality in the postcode N16.
